It's Hong Shing, kiiti, a Chinese restaurant. I cropped out a sign for Uncle Tetsu's, though, which is next to Hong Shing.

Fences, men digging up the pavements, more fences, bollards, hi-vis jackets, arrows, danger signs..............I think the sign in the background sums it up John..........the one that says "Next to Normal".

In Canada, Keith, an old saw is that we have two seasons: winter and roadwork. Dundas is being torn up along a considerable stretch.

The Chinese restaurant in my country had a slightly different tendency to design.

One of the few remaining national differences in design I guess, kiiti. I think I'll have a look for photos of Chinese restaurants by city. Thanks for the idea.
