Dundas Street West, Toronto

One thing that interests me about cities, Jean, at least Canadian ones, is that they are big sets of directions. Lights and signs tell you when to go, when to stop, where to walk and drive, etc. Here the signs even tell you not only that there's danger but also what the danger is. Like an obstacle course with signals replacing officers.

It's Hong Shing, kiiti, a Chinese restaurant. I cropped out a sign for Uncle Tetsu's, though, which is next to Hong Shing.

In Canada, Keith, an old saw is that we have two seasons: winter and roadwork. Dundas is being torn up along a considerable stretch.
