The site is completely isolated from the highway by a river, so it's fairly undisturbed considering it's only an hour or so from Redding, CA.

So what are we doing back at Lave Beds, already? Both of our previous trips were in the summer and many of the caves are closed seasonally because of bat habitats. We came back and got a room in Bieber, CA in October when the bat caves opened back up.
