Here's Badwater where you stand at -200 feet and look up at the 11,000 foot Telescope Peak. I also ended up hiking that in 2008.

Well worth the climb. There was a surprisingly level plateau on top, which offered airplane like views of the town of Ocotillo south towards Mexico.
