Nicholas Hawksmoor - The Devil's Architect.
Nicholas Hawksmoor was an English architect, he was a clerk, assistant and then apprentice to Christopher Wren. His style was unique, freely using features from Baroque, Gothic, Byzantine and Classical designs.
Nicholas Hawksmoor was an occultist and practising Mason and he placed hidden symbols of both these passions into his church designs, hence his Devil's architect nickname.
