My hire car....

Have you heard of the Trabantimo? The American artist Liz Cohen bought s Trabant in Germany (after unification) and took it back to the States, where she decided to modify it so it could convert into a 1973 Chevrolet El Camino. She knew nothing about body work or hydraulics but learned. After ten tears she had a working car -- a lowrider, at that -- which she has since exhibited in art galleries and entered in a big lowrider show in Arizona, at which the car won its class, This video starts with the car converting and demonstrating its lowrider credentials:
