Roadside poppies

Poppies are always a joy to see, and even the wild (we call them ‘wolf') poppies – they bring such a light, carefree feeling to a picture. This photo already suggests that atmosphere very nicely and makes me imagine the field around it. Part of me is curious how it would look in rich colour, or maybe as a slightly closer detail, but even like this it’s a very charming view.
