What's In My Bag?

What's In My Bag?
This is my eBay bag. Pretty much everything inside it, and the bag itself, was bought on eBay. Mercifully I didn't pay much for any of it, and a few things have been satisfyingly amusing to use.
Photographed with a Soligor CD Wide-Auto f/2.8 lens mounted via an EOS-M42 adapter to a Canon EOS 30D - all of them from eBay too.
I couldn't read the viewfinder information for any of the photographs I made today and guessed and adjusted. Most were out of focus. I don't think the Soligor lets in sufficient light and probably it would perform better on a full-frame camera. Its serial number suggests it was made in 1980 by Sun. I wonder how many pairs of hands it has been through. It is in such good condition that I suspect it has been used only very seldom. I shan't be trying again with it for a little while.

Thank you for your carefully considered and helpful comments. Like you, I am sometimes gripped by new ideas and enthusiastically research people's views and traders' prices. I take comfort that many pieces of photographic equipment can be sold without unbearable loss if later unwanted. But I try to restrain myself in the first place. I ought to be taking photographs with the minimum of equipment, not playing around like a child with new toys.

Because of the cost, film makes all but the wealthiest photographers timid. Many shots are lost and many risks not taken. Film demands the best photographers, and I am not numbered amongst them. Through digital my photography has improved and my spirits have lifted. I shall not go back to film.
