Narcissistic Personality Disorder
She sits ostentatiously reading at the top of a staircase leading down to the river. You wouldn't draw any conclusions from the dress with a loud print were it not for that she believes herself to be so important that everyone must go round her, or beg her to let them pass. It's a classic case of narcissistic personality disorder.

You can sometimes catch me ostentatiously reading in public. The Sheffield Supertram is ideal for this because the seating forces you to sit opposite people. I was reading The Peregrine only yesterday, feeling very pleased with myself. Nobody seemed to notice. I wouldn't wear a hat like that.
