Talbot would have approved, I think.The diagonals and verticals arranged across the broad horizontal of the wall move the eyes around the photo very efficiently. I think it was good for photography that the inventor of the negative understood composition so well, and this photo is in the tradition of effective composition.

Thank you for taking the time to comment thoughtfully. There are some elements I like about this picture, yet they seem to conflict in a chaotic way. Essentially, what is on view is just a scruffy corner of a garden with disparate junk, including an ugly plastic bin. Perhaps the wall holds it together somehow. It's a place that might reward a second visit.
