Thank you for your interest. Yes, they are Nikon F, from before the time when AI was introduced (1977). They have been factory modified to AI standard and so they are safe to use on modern Nikon cameras. If they had not been modified, they would have been safe only with a few modern Nikon cameras, mostly in the 'entry level' category.
