Brief Case

Brief Case
The original copies of the White Album LP included a poster on which the words of the songs were printed, and four photographs which John Kelly took during 1968. The cover was distinguished by the embossed words ‘The Beatles’ and a unique serial number. However, the numbering system was abandoned in 1971, and after 1975 the raised lettering was replaced by grey toned conventional printing. I guess the freebies inside were stopped around the same time.
I don't know what camera, lens, and lighting John Kelly used in 1968, but it's clear he was a master of his art. However, viewers may be admiring the detail of the briefcase and wondering what set-up was used to record it so faithfully. So: Nikon D2Xs at 400 ISO. AF-Nikkor 35-70 f/2.8 lens at 48mm. f/4.8 and 1/90th of a second.
