I was going to post a well-reasoned and eloquent analysis of why and how mendacity and duplicity in politicians are seen as "fun" and "enchanting" by the rest of us. But hey, sod it; it's too late for tears. I feel your pain, Dolores666 and wish you all the best.

Thank you, oh wise old bird. I, too, was going to post one of my fiery rants but then I thought it'd be best to let my wee monsters summarize the situation. Thanks for the sympathy and you're right: 'nuff tears! Time to go back to the old "Resist and bite!" battlecry.
