I've been waiting for a long time to do one of these. On the verge of becoming 67 (ah, the horror!...the horror...!), it seems like a good time to attempt it. PS. Ain't it a shame that nobody does vanitas anymore? They go so nicely with reading Thomas Ligotti and Ecclesiastes, innit?

I don't know about this badge you speak of, but once, sometime ago, I exchanged a noy-very-good digital camera for a dozen custom-made buttons/badges with some of my creatures. One of them has Grumpy (one of my favourite Shoggies) squatting square in the middle of the frame, saying "Don't even think about it..."
PS. 67 and decrepit is bad enough, baby. I don't know that I really want to get to 100... :-)

You're dead right, of course. I was talking thru' my frivolously contrary hat. Lots of people do Vanitas, these days, and not only DH. And some do it wonderfully.
