Castres - Theatre Municipal

The theater was built near the bishop's palace according to a plan by Toulouse architect Joseph Galinier. The plans were approved in 1898. Construction lasted until 1904.

In 1931, it was converted for film screenings and fell into disuse after World War II. In 1982, it was renovated and subsequently reopened.
