Bonneville - Pleins Feux Festival

Bonneville - Pleins Feux Festival
Peter II of Savoy had a fortification built on a hill in the first half of the 13th century. His daughter Béatrice de Faucigny made it her residence and in 1262 endowed the adjacent town with privileges. In 1283, she gave the new town the name of Bonneville.

Since some years, thanks to the association's volunteers the city is known for the "Plein feux Festival", a three-day funky festival in the city center. After a two-year absence due to Covid, 2022 marked the return of the festival.

The Brooks

The band with frontman Alan Prater brought a blend of soul and funk from Montréal to Bonneville.
