Jazz à Vienne - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue

"Jazz à Vienne" features 250 concerts each year, 1,000 artists, 200,000 festival-goers.

The 41st edition took place from June 29 to July 13, 2022.

Troy Andrews, known by the stage name "Trombone Shorty", is an American musician from New Orleans. He is a multi-instrumentalist but is best known as a trombone and trumpet player. Andrews' family has deep roots in the music scene of New Orleans and he started playing a trombone at the age of four. He participated in brass band parades as a child, earning him the nickname "Trombone Shorty".

In 2022, Andrews won his first Grammy for his work.
