Saint-Sauvant - Saint-Sylvain

Saint-Sauvant - Saint-Sylvain
Heavy rain started in Saint-Sauvant. The apse of the parish church Saint-Sylvain was part of a large Romanesque church, erected here in the 12th century. The structure got fortified during the Hundred Years War and later partly rebuilt. Despite the many alterations, the apse still has elegance.
