On the way back from Valdez we stopped at Rainbow mountain and let my granddaughter and her friend (12 & 13 years old) do a little rock scrambling.

We had quite a bit of rain in the middle of August and the river at the edge of my property is running fast and deep. Nothing to worry about though and I'd rather have the rain than the wild fires that are happening in other parts of Alaska.
