sunder time

At our Thurday night life drawing sessions, the models start out with a number of one minute poses. Sometimes 4 or 5 poses will stick in my mind and when I put them all together it comes out something like this. ;-)

Ink and oil pastels on 11 by 14 inch Bristol vellum paper.

Five or so years ago, looking back, I noticed my palette would change with the seasons; sharp, vivid colors in the spring, a bit muted come summer, leaning toward warm reds, yellows ocher's in the fall and soft pastels during the long winter.

Nowadays my palette seems to be anticipating the next season, I still enjoy were ever I am but look forward to what's coming next.
