Trail is a little damp

Yes Cat, we do have more than just snow and rain! -grin- Actually the area is classified as a semi-arid plain, meaning we get, on the average, less than 13 inches ( 33 cm.) of precipitation a year (rain and snow). The only reason we aren't really a barren desert is much of the precipitation is snow that sticks around for 6 months so it's available for the plants come spring and summer. This has been a non-average year.
