SQUIRREL MUSHROOM SC 5778 1(1)

adorable ♥

Thanks!

A magnificent image that evokes great tenderness. Squirrel species include fungi and mushrooms in their regular diet, demonstrating a sophisticated survival strategy that defies the dangers of the forest.
Kind regards, Anton.

Hi Anto, thanks for your comments, much appreciated. I wonder if they can tell toxic fungi from safe one, or perhaps they can safely consume mushroom that a poisonous to humans?

sweet

Thanks

That’s nice, and it surprised me (I didn’t know that squirrels ate mushrooms)

Hi Jean-Paul, I did not know either until I saw this, but it makes sense, mushrooms are full of protein and nutrients, I just hope he/she knows which ones are Ok to eat and which are poisonous?

Awesome close-up.

Thanks Don,
