At first I thought that this was a sun-dew plant, Andrew. The red hairy parts look sticky enough to trap insects, but of course they are not sensitive to touch. Lovely Macro.

Hi Amelia,
Thanks for the comment, really interesting, I had not thought about that but you are right that's exactly what they look like. I suppose they have a similar function in a way, one to trap pollen and the other to trap insects.
