Most of the old buildings are apartments now, when there is a lot of rain on the moors the river becomes a raging torrent. I hope you are having a good day Gunter

A very good industrial shot Peter. The bridge looks beautiful and hopefully it is listed.
What is the river? Hope you enjoy the rest of the week.

The bridge is Grade II it's pedestrianised I think that may be a trial to see if people like it, the river is the Don at Kelham Island in Sheffield I went to the museum, when steel and steel products were being produced it would have been a grim area now most of the old factories have been converted into apartments plenty of bars and restaurants, in the early days the power of the Don drove the industry.
