Looking on e-bay it seems to be that era, although it is in the 'Blitz Museum' at the old Coventry Cathedral. If you want one £125 is the average price !!

Looks a bit like the one I learned on Peter!! We were tested on spelling before being accepted for a job! I thought it was great when I used an electric typewriter :) Good shot!

I thought that it was perhaps made in Coventry but it's American, Imperial typewriters were made in Leicester back in the day when we made things !! I hope you are enjoying the nice weather
