Taking over I think Peter! They are so fascinating. I have a log store at the side of the house, and there are a couple of logs with interesting fungi growth on them!

Oh what a fantastic find! Just look at all of those clusters of mushrooms! They are so beautiful! I wonder if those ones are edible, not that I would ever take the chance myself! Your picture reminds me of one I will share at one point from one of the lovely hikes that Steve and I went on when we were traveling around Vancouver Island. Mushrooms climbing up the side of a tree, literally hundreds of them, all in yellow and totally stunning to see! You're find is a wonder to see as well, thank you for sharing!

incredible. i don't think i've ever seen mushrooms growing inbetween tree trunks like that.
