I bought a flat in Harrow (1985).
My first morning in the flat, and I threw open the curtains and there in front of me was a man (I had shorts on at least) looking into my flat!
I was astonished, as was he, because he was a mate from the pub! He nearly fell off the pole. He was the engineer connecting me to the phone line!
We had a laugh over a pint or two later that day!

Great story, as sometimes it happens in life.

Pleased to hear he did the job before you went to the pub !!!!!
