{OK} tlr - Thorpe Light Railway

Formerly the 15" Whorlton Lido Railway. thorpelightrailway.co.uk
Derelict for some years, after an export option was discussed revival was initiated in February 2012. SRR looked at the rolling stock and gave some advice during these early stages. The renamed railway re-opened in June 2013 after much restoration work. Since then some further improvements have been made, eg a new tunnel roof in 2015.
As of 2025, it currently has a very limited number of running days in the summer months. I did promise myself a visit to TLR when they got going ,,,
