{OK} WSL - Wooden Slate Waggons

Production of replica wooden slate waggons - initially in conjunction with the Talyllyn Railway, includes several scanned images obtained during research on the various designs. It seems almost every quarry, railway and tramway had their own versions, although some of the variations are quite minor.

Slab waggon [replica] of the type used at Bryn Eglwys quarry, which used the Talyllyn Railway. Will be mounted on a plinth by the Town Council Offices in Tywyn.
The work was carried out as a supervised training project by a younger member of staff, and was collected from Haltwhistle on 28March2025.
