The weekend of 18 / 19 May 2024 saw the RNLI hosting a Lifeboat Festival in Poole, some events were at the Headquarters and others were at one of the Marinas.
A number of privately-owned ex-lifeboats attended, together with various in-service vessels. International visitors were from France, Germany, The Netherlands [KNRM are also celebrating their bicentenary in 2024] and Sweden. I took around 15…  (read more)
