The area around Roker / Seaburn / Sunderland / Whitburn, in particular the "sea front" is a regular haunt of ours over many years. [22] denotes date of visits - not all have been recorded.
What is now the lifeguard's station used to be the RNLI inshore station, and we've attended more than one "Lifeboat Day" - as well as having "William Riley" here.
