After her restoration, the "William Riley" was rowed from the Tyne to Whitby, over four days [10th to 13th July 2008]. The crew was made up of the "Ales Angles" and four members of the hosting lifeboat station, Overnight stops at Sunderland, Hartlepool and Staithes.
