Cockpit : Crew of four - Pilot, Co-pilot. The other roles of Flight Engineer, Navigator and Radio Operator might be combined, sometimes Navigator with that of the co-pilot, and the radio operator / flight engineer was often combined in the military.

To the RAF this is the Douglas DC-3 "Dakota" to the USAF it is the C-47 "Skytrain".

Currently carrying the D-day black and white stripes on the wings and just in front of the empennage.
[Internally, she is set up for delivering paratroopers].
