Beakhead and cutwater.
Beakhead is where the bowsprit "lands"
The cutwater is the leading edge of the ship's hull
On the original this would have been the "heads" ie toilets for the ordinary crew members.
In later ship designs, the beakhead would be smaller in proportion, and was where the figurehead would be mounted.
