IoM[3] - Sefton and Gaiety Theatre
The paler cream building is the Sefton Hotel, the darker cream one to the right is the "Gaiety Theatre and Opera House" - viewed from within the walls of the sunken gardens on Harris Promenade.

The Sefton Hotel has a bar named after Norman Wisdom, and just outside there is a bench with a statue of him. [see :- www.ipernity.com/doc/312383/50792390/in/album/1287942 ]

Built in the 1890s, Sefton Hotel was used for internment of civilians during WW2 ...

Gaiety Theatre, built in 1899, and restored to the condition it was for it's original debut to celebrate it's centenary, and as an entertainment venue. Today, it is run as part of the Villa Marina complex.

Certainly is !
The Victorians knew how to build eye-catching structures.
This is the "main" frontage, but as there are over 100 bedrooms, the hotel extends quite a bit further to the left, if the paint scheme is any sort of guide.
