"The Millionth Austin" - an Austin Sixteen BS1 - came off the production line on 25th June 1946.

As a celebration, all the employees at Longbridge signed the car. The last signature was Leonard Lord, the Managing Director, which can be seen on top of the bonnet.
{Cars 999,999 and 1,000,001 were raffled to the Austin workforce and the signed car was preserved for publicity display.
