MSR[HI] : F.60 - at St. John's {1969}

MSR[HI] : F.60 - at St. John's  {1969}
One half of F60, grounded at St. John's in July 1969, mimicking the original configuration as 4-wheelers.

F60 was formed in 1923 by mounting B13 & B24 onto a bogie underframe.

A timber or steel underframe?

The 4-wheelers were on oak underframes, but the bogie underframes are heavy steel ones - at least the two I've worked on have been [ie F62 and F63]. Some of the original oak ones were in good enough condition to be reused under various goods vehicles [mainly the G & K classes - closed vans and open cattle cars, respectively].
