MFW - sargasso of the solway

Whilst out on our cruise and sailing test we found ourselves motoring through this mess. A lot of mainly small twigs and vegetation, but also some substantial tree branches. If we had been unlucky enough to hit any of them - as a precaution we slowed down quite a bit - the result would be scratched paint, but if one of the faster yachts from the wsba did the same, the fibreglass hull might have been damaged. Luckily no-one did collide with the stuff, no doubt the tides moved it around the Solway, eventually it will sink or wash up somewhere.
