I heard that they are trying to stop having elephants in zoos etc soon, but to take them back to where they come from - but there are so many of them who were born in a zoo, and to suddenly be set free in a strange country having to fend for themselves, is cruel. I agree with not having any new ones in zoos, but to allow the ones already in zoos, to live their lives there.
