Hi Jenny, I don't think the buzzard is bigger than the harrier. It was just closer to photograph, The harrier stays a long way out on the marsh usually, Yesterday there was a high tide which forced the small mammals to come closer into shore. The harrier which hunts them was forced to come closer to the shore to hunt. There were hundreds of people lining the bank of the marsh waiting to see the harriers and owls. The owls stayed too far out to get a photo sadly,.
