Had white -- red --- brown ( glossy ) Ibis in Florida US --- not this one.
What is his name?

His head reminds me of our Turkey Vultures.. and also Wood Storks [ no feathers ]..

Now this is yet another one whose face is only one that a mother could love. I wonder what the Egyptians found attractive about them, to make them into gods.

Quiet hideous looking Steve, but like all things in nature it must have a purpose.

It is a scavenger Maurice, the lack of feathers on the face is to help it to stay clean after eating. Similar to a vulture. Scavengers definitely have a purpose. They clean up carcases and help stop the spread of diseases. Only a mother could love a face like that though ..
