Die beiden alten Löwinnen... Leider mußten sie im Frühsommer 2008 eingeschläfert werden. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The old lions (two sisters) of the Wilhelma. They are 22 years old on this photo. I was so sad when they had to be put to sleep in May and June 2008.

Dieses Bild mag ich so, weil die ganze Szene einfach schnön war. Undi war (für ihre Verhältnisse) ausgesprochen zufrieden und hat das Spiel mit den Kindern sichtlich genossen. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I like this picture very much because the scene was so lovely. Undi - my favourite of the gorilla family at Wilhelma (zoo of Stuttgart, Germany) - was quite content and enjoyed playing with the youngsters.
