It is about 1 cm long. In the German Wikipedia, I found larinus turbinatus as a possible identification. The English Wikipedia does not know larinus turbinatus , but a very similar beetle named larinus planus . There's even a third species: Larinus sturnus ( www.biolib.cz/en/image/id23927/ ) All are possible identifications for "my" beetle. Das Jungtier ist im Januar geboren; es hat ein Geschwisterchen. Vater Rochedo kam bereits 2001 aus Brasilien in die Wilhelma, Mutter Evita kam vor knapp einem Jahr aus Krakau. Die zwei Babys sind der erste Nachwuchs dieses Paares.
