Vivitar 17-28mm f4-4.5 Wide Angle Zoom Lens PK-A/R

This lens is the wide angle component alternative for the Kit lens, which I do not own. This image was taken on the deck railing in rural upstate Columbia County, New York, USA, with a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) camera and Canon AF EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens, hand held in Av mode, Auto Focused, with available ambient light. This is an image from the regular weekly concert of Molasses Creek playing in the Deepwater Theater in Ocracoke, North Carolina, USA, on Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks. This concert kicked off the start of the 2013 Ocrafolk Festival. I imaged the group from the front row in the audience seating. For this image, I used my manual focus Vivitar PK-A/R 17-28mm f4-4.5 Wide Angle Zoom Lens on Pentax K20D camera, manually focused, hand held, Shake Reduction set to 28mm focal length, lens set to 17mm, ISO 800, f4, 1/15 sec, with available ambient light. This is a full resolution large JPEG and is Straight Out Of Camera (SOOC) without any post-production, editing, adjustment, cropping, or re-sizing.

The AF is broken and does not function. This lens works beautifully as a manual focus lens.
