The Sunday Challenge - Monochrome

Thanks for the fave and the encouragement Christine. I'm happy especially given how reticent I was about shooting in B&W. The funny thing is the choice of this as a subject was one of pure chance.

I'd been out a few times on the bike trying to get a shot I thought would work, but not really getting anywhere. Then, whilst cycling down the High Street the rain came on and I thought I'll just take some shelter and there it was ... inspiration!

Well that's got my week off to a great start! You better watch out Wendi, that reputation of wicked witch and all is under threat! ;)
