The end of Saltcoats Lane looking out over the River Irt, and the entrance to Saltcoats Caravan Park. This is a high spring tide of 8.5 metres on a calm day. There have been occasions in the past where a similar tide, along with a strong westerly gale, has pushed the water up higher and made it impossible to get in or out of the caravan park. Wed31Aug11
