Scottish Inter City

Following the demise of the Swindon built DMUs, the Glasgow - Edinburgh trains were loco hauled with a Type 2 loco either end. Here we see BRCW Type 2/Class 27 No 5407 at Edinburgh Waverley at the head of a train to Glasgow Queen St.. A Class 25 was at the other end. 5407 later became 27114 27208 and finally 27062.
