Due to bad weather over the UK – at least that was the excuse given, though I have my doubts – our early evening flight home to Manchester was delayed by over 5 hours, which was the cause of quite a few complaints. All this paled into insignificance when the events of the following day changed the world forever... Scanned

Arriving at a snowy Manchester after a flight from Palma, we taxied past this Emirates Airbus A380 A6-EDK. It took about 2 and half hours to fly the 1000 miles or so from Palma, and the next 140 miles home to Cumbria took another 5 hours.... Thu2Dec10
