66621 passing Saltcoats with the diverted 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe Basford Hall.
This was a result of the derailment of the Virgin Trains Pendolino at Grayrigg, when a handful of freights were diverted via the Cumbrian Coast.
Nowadays, 6K05 is handled by DBS and normally runs via the Settle and Carlisle Line.

66419 tailing 66422 has just passed Saltcoats and is approaching Ravenglass with 6C62 empty stone train from Sellafield to Millom.
Running after the last passenger train of the day, this was loaded overnight with about 1800 tons of stone from a local quarry near Millom and returned soon after 0600 to Sellafield, then onto Drigg, for a construction project on behalf of BNFL.
