Class 08
Class 08 shunter D3167 as preserved at Ludborough, Lincolnshire Wolds Railway. This became 08102 under the TOPS renumbering scheme.
A resident at Lincoln for many years, upon withdrawal from service it was placed on a plinth outside Lincoln Railway Station, from where it was acquired by the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway.
The white vehicle behind the the loco is an SPV – Special Parcels Van. Hundreds of these were built by the LNER in the 1950s, with a further batch built by BR in the 60s, purpose built for the carraige of fish, as shown in this example.
